Abstract. ASPEN Plus simulations have been created for a CO 2 capture process based on adsorption by monoethanolamine (MEA). Three separate simulations were developed, one each for the flue gas scrubbing, recovery, and purification sections of the process. Although intended to work together, each simulation can be used and executed independently.

WhatsApp: +86 18203695377Calcium looping (CaL), or the regenerative calcium cycle (RCC), is a secondgeneration carbon capture technology. It is the most developed form of carbonate looping, where a metal (M) is reversibly reacted between its carbonate form (MCO 3) and its oxide form (MO) to separate carbon dioxide from other gases coming from either power generation or an industrial plant.
WhatsApp: +86 18203695377CO 2 scrubbing is a particular form of carbon capture that takes place after fossil fuel has been combusted, but before the exhaust is released into the air. Aside from its currently hefty price tag, many people see CO 2 scrubbing as one of the easiest ways to reduce carbon dioxide emissions since it doesn't require any lifestyle changes.

WhatsApp: +86 18203695377The process of removing unwanted pollutants from industrial exhaust gas streams using industrial scrubbers or gas scrubbers is known as industrial scrubbing. How does a scrubber work? The industrial gas stream is passed through the scrubber where the hazardous contaminants are absorbed by the liquid/solid particles present.

WhatsApp: +86 18203695377When coal is burned, the sulfur combines with the oxygen in the combustion air to produce SO 2, which is emitted into the air through a plant's stacks, if not removed by a scrubber. Why does SO 2 need to be scrubbed? Sulfur dioxide is a reactive gas so when it meets other gases within the earth's atmosphere, a fine, secondary particle forms.
